Olight Marauder 3 25000 Lumen Flood and Spot Flashlight

The Olight Marauder 3 pairs a wide 25,000-lumen floodlight with a dedicated spotlight reaching up to 1,000 metres. Select flood, spot or both beams to light a campsite, inspect a property or search across open ground. A built-in 31,900mAh battery, runtime display and 30W bidirectional USB-C port make it useful for longer outings and emergency lighting.

Choose Black, Midnight Blue or Orange. Each colour has the same lighting performance and battery. At 840g, this is a substantial handheld searchlight; the included holster and storage case help with carrying and transport.

Choose the beam for the job

Flood spreads light across the area close to you. Spot concentrates light for checking distant objects. Combined mode lights the foreground and distance together, with a maximum combined output of 19,000 lumens. The 1,000-metre rating describes maximum beam distance under test conditions; visibility and useful working distance depend on weather, surroundings and the target.

Rotary control and runtime display

The side selector changes between flood, spot and combined beams. Touch the rotary dial to unlock the light, then press it to turn the light on or off. If gloves or moisture prevent touch unlocking, rotate the dial more than 90 degrees instead. Rotate the dial while the light is on to adjust brightness; double-press for the highest available output or triple-press for strobe. Unlock and hold the button for more than one second while the light is off to enter Moonlight.

The display updates the estimated remaining runtime as you change brightness, and shows estimated charging time. The light locks after switching off to help prevent accidental activation. Maximum output needs sufficient battery charge: level 7 requires at least 85%, while levels 5 and above require at least 42%.

Output and runtime

Maximum brightness is a short burst, followed by automatic step-downs. The figures below are selected settings from Olight’s manual, measured in laboratory conditions. The arrows show successive output stages, and the times follow the same order. Actual runtime varies with temperature, battery condition and use.

USB-C charging and emergency power

The built-in 3.7V, 31,900mAh lithium-ion battery stores 118Wh. USB-C supports charging and power output up to 30W, so the light can also supply compatible devices. Olight recommends a USB-C PD adapter rated at 30W or higher; a full charge takes approximately five hours under the specified test conditions. Input/output profiles are 5V/3A, 9V/3A and 12V/2.5A.

Use the charging port indoors in dry conditions and keep the port dry. While charging or supplying another device, brightness is limited to level 4. The built-in battery is not user replaceable. For air travel, confirm the carrier’s rules for a device with a 118Wh battery before departure.

A suitable USB-C power adapter is required for charging. Keep the light away from children, avoid looking into the beam and allow the head to cool after high-output use. Do not cover the lens while the light is on.
