Olight Traveler Flashlight with Flood and Spot Beams

The Olight Traveler flashlight combines a broad flood beam and a focused spot beam in one compact rechargeable light. Use the flood beam for nearby work and a wide view of the area around you, select the spot beam when you need to inspect something farther away, or combine both beams for balanced near- and long-range illumination.

This makes the Traveler a practical option for camping, vehicle checks, household emergencies, security work and general outdoor use in South Africa.

Its blue aluminium-alloy body measures 117 mm long and weighs approximately 160 g with the built-in battery. Two side controls separate power and brightness adjustment from beam selection, helping you change the light pattern without switching the flashlight off. An electronic lockout helps prevent accidental activation while the light is carried in a bag or stored with other equipment.

Three useful beam configurations

The Olight Traveler flashlight provides three distinct lighting configurations rather than relying on a single compromise beam:

• Flood: a wide cool-white beam for close-range visibility, campsites, rooms, equipment and working areas.
• Spot: a concentrated cool-white beam with a maximum stated distance of 273 m for checking paths, boundaries and distant objects.
• Flood and spot: both light sources operate together to provide foreground coverage with a stronger central reach.

Each configuration includes Moonlight, Low, Medium, High and Turbo brightness levels, along with Strobe and SOS functions. The light remembers the selected brightness across the three beam configurations. Turbo is accessed with a quick double-click, while Moonlight can be reached directly from off with a long press.

Automatic step-down during Turbo and High operation is normal and helps control temperature while extending useful runtime.

Built-in battery and USB-C charging

A built-in 3.6 V 3350 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the Olight Traveler flashlight. The protected USB-C port accepts a 1 A charging input, with a stated full-charge time of up to four hours. The indicator flashes red while charging and changes to solid green above approximately 95% charge. A power adapter is not included.

The illuminated side switch also communicates remaining battery status. With the light off, pressing the mode button displays a series of green, orange or red flashes. This provides a quick check before a hike, road trip, patrol or power interruption.

Controls and safe storage

Click the power button once to switch the light on or off, and hold it while the light is on to cycle through the normal brightness levels. Click the separate M button to move between Flood, Spot and combined mode. When the flashlight is off, holding the power button for approximately two seconds engages or releases the electronic lockout.

Like any high-output light, the Olight Traveler flashlight can become warm during extended use. Avoid repeatedly activating Turbo, never direct the beam into eyes, and keep the lens clear of flammable material. Close the USB-C port cover after charging and lock the controls before carrying the light in a bag.
