The Olight PL-3R 1500 Lumen Weapon Light is a rechargeable rail-mounted light designed for users who need high output, straightforward controls and a secure adjustable fit. Its programmable high setting lets you select either 1,500 or 1,000 lumens, while the 300-lumen low mode provides a longer-running option for sustained illumination.

Olight pairs the PL-3R’s focused 205-metre throw with a broad useful beam, giving the user both reach and surrounding visibility. The dual rear switches support left- or right-handed operation and provide constant-on, momentary-on and strobe control without changing the user’s normal grip.

Selectable output and brightness memory

The primary high mode can be programmed for either maximum 1,500-lumen output or the longer-running 1,000-lumen setting. Once selected, the light remembers that high setting, so it returns to the same configuration the next time it is activated. A separate 300-lumen low mode is available when less output or extended runtime is more appropriate.

Magnetic charging and remote-switch connection

A built-in 900mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery powers the PL-3R. The magnetic port accepts the included Olight charging cable and can also connect to the optional sRPL-7 remote pressure switch. This allows the same light to be configured for compatible short or long rail-equipped platforms without changing its internal power system.

Designed for demanding rail-mounted use

The PL-3R is rated IPX6 for protection against powerful water jets and is impact tested to one metre. Its compact 81mm body keeps the controls close to the mounting point, while the rear switches can be reached from either side. The lock setting helps prevent accidental operation during transport or storage.

The adjustable key-block and separate locking screw perform different jobs: the key-block sets the light’s position on a compatible rail, while the screw secures that position once the fit has been confirmed. Recheck the mount after installation and before use. Black and desert tan variations share the same output, charging system, dimensions and included mounting accessories, so colour can be selected without changing the core performance.
